Keeping up with BAASnotes
The easiest way to stay current with BAAS and this web site is to subscribe to its RSS feed.
Click here for an explanation of RSS.
Also, you can subscribe to email updates of comments.
To do so, simply use the “Subscription Manager” feature at the bottom of the “Leave a Comment” dialog (see example at right).
Please take advantage of these two features. This will allow you to better keep up with BAAS, and allow me to send fewer emails!

Bob,
Thanks for trying to set this up.
Unfortunately, I don’t see the “Manage Subscriptions” link. Perhaps I need to have a certain role in WordPress to see it?
Kevin
Bob,
I take that back. Now I realize that one can only see that link when one has actually commented on that particular blog entry. Is there a way to subscribe to comments on a blog entry without actually submitting a comment? Not really a big issue, but I seem to still not be subscribed to comment notifications to previous blog postings where I’ve submitted a comment.
Kevin
@kevin
I’ll look into this further, but (unfortunately) I’m no WordPress expert!
Thanks,
Bob
If you click on the RSS subscription option at the top right of the blog (above the “pages” section) you can subscribe there. I chose Microsoft Outlook, and it dumps the feed into my RSS inbox in Outlook, which is ok. Would be preferable to have a regular email subscription option where it will send the blog posts to any email address as an HTML email, rather than through a feed to an RSS reader.
I’ve emailed my blog/web guy to see how he did it on my blog, will post back if I get a reply.
There is a free plugin for WordPress called Subscribe2, which is what is used on my blog for regular email subscriptions.
Geoff.
Thanks, Geoff. I’ll try to install the plugin…
Bob
